We are excited to have you join us to celebrate the new chapter in our lives.
March 13, 2022. White Noise Coffee, Brooklyn. Kara will tell you — unprompted, to this day — that Ben did not buy her coffee. Not on that first date, and not on the next one either. She showed up anyway, which in hindsight tells you most of what you need to know about her.
The years since have mostly been the two of us taking turns holding the roof up. Kara got Ben through residency and two fellowships, and all the odd hours and missed dinners that came with them. Ben got Kara through the flood, and then through every dusty, sawdust-covered month of putting the apartment back together.
Somewhere between the coffee she paid for and the home we rebuilt, we figured out we were doing this for good.
Ben still hasn't bought the coffee, but he's working up to it.
Baby steps.

An autumn evening in New York calls for something elegant. Suits and cocktail dresses are perfect — just make sure you're comfortable enough to dance.
Getting there
An essential video will be provided in the near future with important details about navigating to the venue.
Ci Siamo is easy to reach by subway and taxi. Valet parking is available at the venue from 6:00 pm, and rideshare drop-off is right at the door.

Staying in the city
For guests joining us from out of town, you are welcome to sleep in our home. Just let us know if you want a floor to curl up on. The roaches can be so cuddly at night
